What Does this roentgenological Report Result Mean?
hi.good day!!! my pre-employment roentgenological report really bothered me, findings is: SUSPICIOUS APEX INFILTRATES.HEART,DIAPHRAGM AND SULCI ARE INTACT. Impression is: FOR APICOLORDOTIC VIEW. What would i do?? pls help me!! i dont want to hold my employment..thank you so much!!
Your chest X-ray findings suggests doubtful opacities in apical areas of lungs. You are rightly suggested for apicolordotic view of chest. This view is suggested if there are suspicious densities in apical region of lung. Apicolordotic view is a special view of chest X-ray to visualize apical region of lungs. This view is necessary because apical region is covered by bony ribs, clavicle etc.Normal chest X-ray (PA)can miss the findings.
Rest of the findings are normal.Heart, both CP angles, both domes of diaphragm are normal.
